180 inch boxing hand wraps

Hand wraps support your wrist and knuckles and keep your gloves fresh. Every boxer should wear them under gloves.

What length of hand wrap should I use?

180-inch wraps suit most adult hands and give enough length to cover wrist, knuckles and thumb.

How to wrap your hands

  1. Put the thumb loop over your thumb, with the wrap on the back of your hand.
  2. Wrap the wrist 3 times.
  3. Wrap the knuckles 3 times, keeping your hand spread.
  4. Go diagonally across the back of the hand and through each finger gap.
  5. Wrap around the thumb once for support.
  6. Finish with remaining wrap around the wrist and close the Velcro.

How tight should wraps be?

Firm but not cutting off circulation. Make a fist – it should feel solid without tingling.

Do wraps change glove size?

Slightly – always try gloves with wraps on. See how boxing gloves should fit.
